Job duties


Monitor and adjust production processes and equipment for quality and productivity in a large-scale automotive manufacturing environment. Conduct time and motion studies on productionfloor operations to establish standard production rates and identify efficiency improvements. Test automotive parts and components at specified stages of the production process forperformance characteristics and adherence to engineering specifications. Calibrate and adjust production equipment and measurement tools, including calipers, micrometers, heightgauges, and ring gauges, to ensure quality output. Plan, direct, and coordinate the engineering, operation, and maintenance of critical infrastructure and electrical utility systems for a large-scale automobile batteries manufacturing plant. Formulate and direct proactive reliability engineering and preventive maintenance programs for electrical and utility systems by conducting root cause analyses on aging equipment. Oversee the final stages of plant construction by directing the hand-over process, executing technical commissioning, and managing the wet-running of complex electrical utility systems. Translate high-level energy-saving strategies into practical daily operations by continuously monitoring utility usage data, adjusting field operations, and optimizing electrical system configurations to reduce energy consumption. Job duties


Set up, operate, and maintain electrical and mechanical test equipment to perform functional, continuity, and performance testing of automotive component lines, including wiringharnesses, high-voltage terminals, connectors, and fuse systems. Test and inspect electrical parts of the machinery to ensure desired performance and to resolve equipment malfunctions,and document test results for engineers to review. Troubleshoot wiring harness assemblies, test fixtures, and testing equipment to identify electrical, mechanical, or performance-relatedissues and assist in resolving product nonconformities. Assist engineering and quality personnel in evaluating prototype and production wiring harnesses by performing validation testingand verifying compliance with product specifications. Job Duties:
Plan and direct the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Companys quality management system to ensure that products and services meet Company quality standards, IATF 16949 requirements, and customer requirements. Monitor the performance of quality control systems to ensure their effectiveness and efficiency and improve quality performance while reducing quality costs. Direct quality procedures throughout product development and manufacturing processes, including the development and implementation of inspection and testing criteria. Analyze quality control test results and provide feedback and interpretation to production management and staff. Direct the tracking of defects, test results, nonconformances, root-cause analyses, and quality trends, and oversee the preparation and maintenance of related quality records and reports. Oversee audits of production processes, products, services, and suppliers; identify quality issues; and implement corrective actions. Manage supplier relationships and instruct suppliers on quality guidelines, testing procedures, and corrective actions necessary to meet Company quality standards. Oversee customer accounts and resolve quality complaints. Train, develop, supervise, and evaluate quality-control staff, including making recommendations regarding hiring, promotion, discipline, leave, and training. Review and update quality assurance procedures and stay current on quality management practices, regulatory standards, and industry developments.
Requirement:
Must have a Masters Degree or foreign equivalent in Electronic Engineering or a related Engineering field plus 3 years of experience as a Quality Control Manager (or related managerial role) at an internationally affiliated automobile parts manufacturer. Experience must include supplier quality management; APQP and PPAP management; implementing IATF 16949 processes for new product launches; and leading internal and supplier quality audits.

Job Duties:
Audit and maintain company’s Quality Management System to ensure full compliance with IATF 16949 standards and customer-specific requirements on the manufacturing line. Lead and perform root-cause analysis on line stops, internal scrap, and customer rejections, and implement corrective actions yourself.
Conduct internal quality audits of manufacturing cells and assembly processes to identify gaps and drive immediate resolution. Execute the APQP deliverables for new product launches, including writing control plans, process flow diagrams, and Failure Mode and Effects Analyses (PFMEA). Compile, verify, and directly submit the complete Part Approval Process (PPAP) package to customers, gathering all dimensional results, lab test data, and documentation. Build, execute, and validate prototype and pilot run inspection plans right on the production floor. Calculate and monitor Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts, control limits, and process capability indices for critical manufacturing dimensions. Analyze shop floor inspection and test data to identify trends, pinpoint shifting tool wear or machine drift, and immediately adjust process parameters or alert operations. Design sampling plans, data collection sheets, and inspection checklists for operators and inspectors to utilize daily. Operate precision measurement and metrology equipment (such as CMM, optical comparators, micrometers, and calipers) to inspect first-article, in-process, and outgoing parts. Interpret complex engineering drawings, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) callouts, and technical specs via meticulous blueprint reading during daily quality sign-offs. Conduct Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA) and hands-on Gauge R&R studies on plant inspection tools to ensure measurement accuracy. Physically inspect, segregate, and disposition discrepant, defective, or damaged materials, identifying the exact root cause and logging scrap or rework costs. Work directly with assembly and machining operators on the floor to verify that measurement, inspection, and testing instructions are correctly executed. Analyze production schedules, specifications, and workflows to recommend and implement hands-on process adjustments that reduce material waste.
 
Requirement:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a closely related Engineering field plus 5 years of experience in a quality role in the automotive industry.
Experience must include:
• 5 years of experience in IATF 16949 
• 5 years of experience in statistical process control (SPC)
• 5 years of experience in Part Approval Process (PPAP) and Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
• 5 years of experience in metrology, Blue print reading and SPC

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Identify potential hazards in the workplace through observation, measurement, and analysis.
  • Conduct exposure assessments to determine the level of risk posed by various hazards.
  • Use specialized equipment to measure and monitor levels of contaminants, noise, radiation, and other hazardous agents.
  • Collect samples of air, water, and other substances for analysis in laboratory settings.

  • Develop, and facilitate safety training to new shop floor employees and supervisors
  • Identify and develop good working relationships with federal, state and local authorities (i.e., safety agencies, fire departments, etc.) 
  • Establish and conduct health and safety procedures and process based on ISO45001 
  • Develop and implement Health and Safety programs and activities for the facility to achieve, maintain and exceed compliance with relevant regulatory laws and regulations as well as comply with HMC standards and procedures
