WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Coordinate, monitor, and perform specialized technical processes and related functions directly related to stamping activities in the maintenance department in an automotive manufacturing environment to meet and exceed company goals and objectives.
  • General Management duties include:
    •    Reporting on status of assigned tasks at beginning, during and conclusion
    •    Supervising shop maintenance downtime, manpower, preventive maintenance, maintenance system, equipment improvements
  • Safety/Environmental duties:
    •    Prepare, execute, evaluate and improve the annual operation pla
    •    Oversee activities to encourage good teamwork. (Interview, Meeting, Events, Collaboration with expatriates)
    •    Manage the production and downtime condition of the stamping shop
    •    Have a flexible work schedule based on department shift rotation plan and may need to support any urgent equipment issue including        those outside of normal working hours (nights, weekends, holidays)
    •    Maintain SAP & PM systems daily based on the Stamping shops PM activities
    •    Possess strong electrical and system engineering skills and knowledge and general mechanical understanding 
    •    Maintain smooth relationships with external departments through communication and cooperation
  • Budget and spare parts management:
    •    Manage and monitor the purchasing, distribution and inventory control of maintenance material. (include Tools, Subsidiary materials)
    •    Manage spare parts system in Stamping maintenance including R&R approval of PR, Quotation, PO, receiving,and organizing
    •    Control the yearly stamping maintenance budget. (Monthly planning, analysis, and secure budget)
  • Shop Member Management:
    •    Supervise and control conflicts in the organization and support any team member issues. (organization control, recruitment, disciplinary measures, and appraisals)
    •    Communicate to members about direction, company business decision and official information 
    •    Evaluate, mentor and motivate shop members to encourage continuous improvement
    •    Company policy enforcement
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE:
  •  More than 10 years maintenance career in the field of automated plants                
    •    Experience in managing more than 30 team members.
    •    Ability to understand drawings and specifications of electrical, mechanical systems.
    •    Technical college or equivalent experience in electrical or mechanical concentration
    •    Trouble shooting ability for PLC based automation equipment.                                                               
    •    Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Preferred:
    •    More than 5 years maintenance career in major automotive industry in US
    •    Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
    •    Holders of mechanical or electrical certifications
    •    AB PLC program and control circuit experience 
    •    Performed equipment installations including design study, paperwork, inspection and testing new/modified equipment and processes 
    •    Stamping shop experience, preferably OEM with tandem servo press experience

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Supervise Team Leaders/Members in the manufacturing/quality areas in an automotive manufacturing environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The General Affairs Specialist is responsible for the operational leadership of a wide range of administrative functions that support the organization’s daily operations. This includes overseeing facility management, employee services, vendor and contract oversight, corporate service programs, and cross-functional project execution.   • Key Responsibilities
    1. Project Management
    •    Lead cross-functional small & medium size projects including system implementation, infrastructure enhancement, workspace renovations, and process improvement initiatives.

    4. Vendor & Contract Management
    •    Source, evaluate, and manage third-party vendors related to services including benefit program operation, and business operations.
    •    Draft and negotiate service agreements, ensuring adherence to SLAs, compliance requirements, and budgetary limits.
    •    Conduct periodic performance reviews through vendor score card and lead contract renewals or renegotiations as necessary with data analysis.
    •    Collaborate with Legal and Procurement teams to ensure proper risk management and contract governance.
    5. Employee Services & Welfare
    •    Operate and improve employee support services such as cafeteria operations, janitorial programs, team wear operation, event planning/operation, vending/micro-market services, and general business operation programs.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • The Material Handling Assistant Manager plays a critical role in support to Material Handling operations. They are responsible for OS&D, Billing, PIV+Facilities+Equipment, Shop floor & rack labeling, PRs, Hardware, SAP material handling support.
  • Material Handling support-shop floor labeling
  • PRs process
  • Material Handling support-SAP parts ordering and others.
  • Oversee OS&D process.
  • Serves as liaison between HMGMA and Hyundai affiliates regarding Production Control billing.
  • Provides coaching, mentoring, and development of team.
  • Implements Kanban systems to control the flow of materials and trigger reordering when inventory levels reach replenishment thresholds.
  • Removes roadblocks and resolves problems delaying the progress of projects and department milestones.
  • Ensures the appropriate material handling equipment (forklifts, tuggers, PDAs, etc.) is procured and delivered according by date of need/use.
  • Supports Material Handling by conducting root cause analysis to eliminate and mitigate issues on manpower, materials, methods, and machine.
  • Responsible for all new model launch milestones related to packaging and material handling activities.
  • Develops Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure efficiency, monitor progress, assess performance, and make informed decisions.
  • Continuously evaluates cost reduction improvements in material flow and container packaging.

  • Drive flawless launches at assigned supplier sites, collaborating with cross functional teams through adherence to ISIR (PPAP), proactively detecting and promptly responding to any significant issues related to delivery, cost, and quality.
  • Hold effective working-level meetings with suppliers/partners for fast issue closure and relationship development.
  • Continuously negotiate with suppliers for the best-in-class piece price and tooling cost to achieve target vehicle cost.
  • Develop purchasing strategies with Engineering, Quality, Production, and other relevant teams.
