The Maintenance MGR of the welding shop will manage all maintenance index, oversee the training, evaluation of maintenance team members. Also, understand process of the welding shop.

Travel Requirement:
•    Domestic / International travel required.

Working Hours (Shift) Requirement:

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE:

 Minimum:
•    More than 10 years maintenance career in the field of automated plants.                                 
•    Experience in managing more than 30 team members.
•    Technical college or equivalent experience in electrical or mechanical concentration.                                                          
Preferred:

•    Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
•    More than 5 years maintenance career in major automotive industry in US.
•    Holders of mechanical or electrical certifications.
•    Trouble shooting ability for PLC based automation equipment.
•    Ability to understand drawing and specifications of electrical, mechanical systems.
•    AB PLC program and control circuit experience. 
•    Performed many equipment installations including design study, paper work, inspection and   testing new/modified equipment and              processes. 
•    Automotive robotic welding experience, prefer Kawasaki and Fanuc.

•    Communicate with Advanced Vehicle Manufacturing Engineering Team in Korea and other relevant teams in R&D from Korea/USA for successful launch.
•    Host video conference in new vehicle design improvement and status follow up meeting.
•    Responsible for preparation of the Assembly Process Sheets considering method and line condition with detailed picture and text.
•    Work content to be explained through a picture drawn in the workers’ position according to work content, work order and work status.
•    Responsible to check the workability and quality for vehicle assembly.
– Ability to check vehicle drawing (tightening hardware and torque, vehicle dimension, etc.)   and design work process as the assembly sequence.

       This role is part of the Cost Management team at Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America(HMGMA) and reports to the Sr. Manager of Cost Management, Parts Development. As a Cost Analyst, you will play a crucial role in assessing and optimizing the financial aspects of our vehicle parts and supply chain. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze all aspects of parts cost, monitor changes, and ensure accurate weekly/monthly financial reporting. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide valuable insights that drive cost efficiency and profitability. The role requires the successful candidate to have strong accounting, systems, and analytical skills along with high attention to detail and the ability to work effectively with a variety of stake holders.
      Material Cost Analysis
      ·    Lead vehicle-level material cost calculations for both new and existing vehicles, tracking target cost achievement and reporting progress to upper management.
      ·    Gather and consolidate material costs for all HMGMA-built vehicles, analyzing and reporting cost variances by vehicle and supplier.
      ·    Assess cost impacts of price fluctuations due to tariffs, raw materials, labor, and other factors. Collaborate with Commercial and Procurement teams to support pricing decisions.
      ·    Validate, track, and forecast procurement costs for vehicle parts to ensure accurate financial planning.
      ·    Analyze changes in product design, raw materials, and manufacturing processes to assess their impact on overall costs.
      ·    Evaluate cost effects on profitability, providing insights to optimize cost efficiency and financial performance.
        
       
      WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE:

      •    Bachelor’s degree in, Business Management, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or related field from accredited university
      •    Minimum 2 years of related experience, including some experience within Procurement, Supply Chain in a large, complex, multi-location manufacturer
      •    Strong Microsoft office skills (especially MS Excel) required
      •    Strong systems aptitude with preference given to candidates with proficiency with SAP ERP

      •    Report on status of assigned tasks at beginning, during and conclusion.
      •    Develop detail action plan to meet shop wise maintenance index. (Downtime, PM Plan & Actual, Equipment monitoring system, Equipment improvements, Safety/Environmental etc.)
      •    Prepare detail training plan for each team member to meet skill level target of each section.
      •    Prepare & execute annual operation plan and report status of each task.
      •    Support AM/MGR to encourage good teamwork. (Meeting, Events, Collaboration)
      •    Analysis GA shop downtime and provide improvement plan.
      •    Need Flexible work schedule based on department shift rotation plan and can be requested to take care any urgent equipment issue (Night, Weekends, Holidays)
      •    Analysis shop wise maintenance budget of the year.
      •    Verify exact specification of all parts and create material numbers to make PR
      •    1st counterpart for purchasing team to get PO of each PR process
      •    In charge PR, Parts receiving, Organizing, Parts issuing and payment with supervisor’s approval
      •    Monitor purchasing, distribution and inventory control of maintenance material. (include Tools, Subsidiary materials etc.)
      •    Need good communication with AM/MGR to supervise and control conflicts in the organization and take care individual distress from the work.
      •    Need to be a mentor for shop members to encourage continuous improvement
