WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Study and understand car body parts and process to enhance body quality while meeting internal and external customer requirements
  • Inspect incoming/raw materials and assemblies to make quality decision
  • Investigate and analyze defective products and develop countermeasure
  • Establish short-term/long-term measures to ensure smooth production
  • Collaborate with HMC visitors for quality improvement during new project development stage
  • Enhance suppliers’ quality level by conducting Supplier Process Audit(SPA) and reviewing their products, tools, and systems periodically
  • Participate/lead BIW audit sharing inspection results with suppliers and HMGMA engineers to request and discuss improvement plan
  • Manage assigned products to meet internal/external customer requirements
  • Improve efficiency of quality control management system by learning and applying new technology, knowledge, and equipment
  • Ensure the adequacy of relevant procedures and systems in accordance to specification and applicable legal requirements
  • Meet all other requirements as assigned

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering major preferred); advanced degree in a related field preferred

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Implement the HMGMA quality management system in accordance with ISO9001 standards.
  • Provide guidance employees on ISO9001 standards and requirements.
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with ISO9001 standards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage and maintain ISO9001 certification, including coordinating external audits and ensuring ongoing compliance with standards.
  • Monitor that all documentation related to ISO9001 compliance is up to date and accurate.

  • Arrange the variation of New Vehicles in electronic inspection facility (after sign-off).

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE:
  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Experience in the automotive industry with ISO9001 or ISOTS 16949 certification and vehicle testing and durability validation.
  • Knowledge of automotive systems, including EV, chassis, and electronic systems.
  • Understanding the CAN(Controller Area Network) communication system
  • Ability to understand, read and establish fluent technical English conversations.
  • Excellent communication skills.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Maintain quality test equipment at the Vehicle Processing Center (VPC).  
  • Support in-line team with recommended actions and drive quality improvement through coordination, monitoring, and performing specialize technical process/ related functions directly related to completed vehicle inspection.  
  • Facilitate, lead and drive improvement for First Time through (FTT) concerns, repetitive concerns, and field issues. 
  • Recommend actions and drive quality improvement through collection, analysis, and reporting of quality and equipment issues.  
  • Analyze internal and external quality indicators and determine quality trends to drive continuous improvement in Safety, Quality, and Productivity metrics.
  • Research and investigate quality issues to determine root cause.  
  • Manage execution of HMGMA process and vehicle evaluation activities.  
  • Execute and implement quality inspection and improvement activities of mass-produced vehicles and conducting activities to identify new vehicle projects analysis of completed vehicle to ensure its high quality and conformity to international standards. 
  • Lead the team activities, including inspection card specification, format, equipment, etc. 
  • Maintain inspection card/ systems, and equipment (printers/scanners etc.)  
  • Establish/improve inspection methods and prevent leakage/ flow out post-processes. 
  • Lead development of inspection standards and criteria for Line Inspection to use.  
  • Utilize Quality Index Reports to focus shop specific process audits, shop quality level, strength, weakness, and areas for improvement – through data, validation, countermeasure, implementation, and effectiveness. 
  • Coordinate In-line Process evaluation activities for a sound and secure inspection system for a defect free vehicle to our customers.
  • Coordinate Process workstation evaluation – validate Production/inspection activities for safety & critical check points. 
  • Lead analysis of the cause of the vehicle problem, improvement activities with all shop teams, audit, preparation, and implementation of quality meetings.
  • Analyze inspection data and findings, communicate finding, and drive problem resolution and improvement in new model and current models. 
  • Facilitate, recommend actions, and drive improvement through the quality and production departments for completed vehicle quality and continuous improvement activities. 
  • Quality facility/equipment management, investment cost execution/ management, supplementary investment establishment. 
  • Preparation, consultation, and coordination of external events.
  • Participate in new vehicle projects (preparation for inspection, establishment of quality securing plan, and response to evaluation).
  • Validate pilot build quality and audit / validate new model critical customer quality concerns. 
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE:
  • Bachelor’s degree required (STEM majors preferred).
  • Minimum 1 year of related job experience (experience in Auto manufacturing, new model launch, and Quality control preferred).

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Lead supplier factory inspections and part analysis to identify quality issues and drive improvements.

  • As quality engineer collaborate with suppliers to develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to address identified quality issues .

  • Visit dealerships to investigate and identify specific instance of customer complaints and work to identify root causes as quality engineer.

  • Develop and maintain quality metrics and KPIs to track progress and drive continuous improvement.

  • Checks the field’s TSB and creates its own TSB once the field campaign is determined. 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE:
   Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance within the automotive industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient in MS office and other relevant software

  • Employer Branding & Employee Engagement:  As the person in charge of part quality control, conducting activities in charge of quality inspection and improvement activities of supplier’s parts, and conducting activities to identify new vehicle projects analysis of parts to ensure its high quality and conformity to international standards.

  • Recruitment:  Duties include but not limited to the following:

  • Quality Inspection:  Execute per Operation Plan to ensure part quality per specifications.  (i.e, Field claim analysis, Supplier Management, Part inspection)

  • Improvement:  Analysis of the cause of the part problem, improvement activities and preparation and implementation of quality meetings

  • Facility Management:  Quality facility/equipment management, investment cost execution/ management, supplementary investment establishment

  • External Task:  Preparation, consultation, and coordination of external events

  • Conduct monitoring of vehicle faults.

  • Ensure the adequacy of relevant procedures and computerized systems in accordance to reference standards and applicable legal requirements.

  • Plan, control and monitor the corrective actions of quality non-conformity detected in audits.

  • Prepare reports and publish timelines in order to provide feedback and improve the management system through technical support.

  • Answer for certifications of the company regarding the product.

  • Make certification planning and keep track of them in order to meet the market’s demands.

  • Generate reports on troubleshooting.

    Minimum:

WHAT YOU WILL DO

•    Coordinates, monitors and performs technical processes related to General Assembly shop in maintenance department to meet company goals.
•    Report on status of assigned tasks at beginning, during and conclusion.
•    Develop detail action plan to meet shop wise maintenance index. (Downtime, PM Plan & Actual, Equipment monitoring system, Equipment improvements, Safety/Environmental etc.)
•    Prepare detail training plan for each team member to meet skill level target of each section.
•    Prepare & execute annual operation plan and report status of each task.
•    Support AM/MGR to encourage good teamwork. (Meeting, Events, Collaboration)
•    Analysis GA shop downtime and provide improvement plan.
•    Need Flexible work schedule based on department shift rotation plan and can be requested to take care any urgent equipment issue (Night, Weekends, Holidays)
•    Analysis shop wise maintenance budget of the year.
•    Verify exact specification of all parts and create material numbers to make PR
•    1st counterpart for purchasing team to get PO of each PR process
•    In charge PR, Parts receiving, Organizing, Parts issuing and payment with supervisor’s approval
•    Monitor purchasing, distribution and inventory control of maintenance material. (include Tools, Subsidiary materials etc.)
•    Need good communication with AM/MGR to supervise and control conflicts in the organization and take care individual distress from the work.
•    Need to be a mentor for shop members to encourage continuous improvement
