HMGMA is the abbreviation of Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America. It is Hyundai Motor Group’s first dedicated EV mass-production plant and is an innovative plant with cutting-edge production technology applied.
- Study and understand car body parts and process to enhance body quality while meeting internal and external customer requirements
- Inspect incoming/raw materials and assemblies to make quality decision
- Investigate and analyze defective products and develop countermeasure
- Establish short-term/long-term measures to ensure smooth production
- Collaborate with HMC visitors for quality improvement during new project development stage
- Enhance suppliers’ quality level by conducting Supplier Process Audit(SPA) and reviewing their products, tools, and systems periodically
- Participate/lead BIW audit sharing inspection results with suppliers and HMGMA engineers to request and discuss improvement plan
- Manage assigned products to meet internal/external customer requirements
- Improve efficiency of quality control management system by learning and applying new technology, knowledge, and equipment
- Ensure the adequacy of relevant procedures and systems in accordance to specification and applicable legal requirements
- Meet all other requirements as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering major preferred); advanced degree in a related field preferred
- Valid driver’s license required

• Adequate visual and auditory abilities to identify safety hazards and communicate clearly
