Specialist – Campaign – Quality Assurance (West Point, GA)
Manage Service Campaigns: Work with suppliers, internal departments, HQ and other subsidiaries, to plan, develop and launch service/quality assurance campaigns; confirm responsible parties produce the required IOQ (initial order quantity) needed to launch a campaign; review TSB (Technical Service Bulletin) for accuracy; submit Official Notification for all campaigns to Kia America; track all campaigns through launch process and campaign completion.
Requires domestic and international travel up to two weeks per year for training purposes (Seminar/Conference) or to attend an offsite meeting.
Job Requirements: Bachelors degree Mechanical, Industrial or related Engineering discipline, Finance, Accounting, or related fields. Foreign equivalents accepted.
6 months experience in logistics and material planning in a manufacturing environment.
Position requires skills with the following which may be gained through experience or education in degree granting programs (including projects, papers, internships, practical training experiences or similar):
– Management of defective parts inspection/identification in a manufacturing setting.
– Utilizing SAP and Warehouse Management Systems to manage inventory, monitor material movements, and weekly reports demonstrating excess and obsolete stocks.
– Coordination of various manufacturing departments within an organization regarding production goals, timelines, suppliers.
– Initiating and presenting upper management internal reports to track performance and costs.
– Professional communication with management by interpreting and presenting technical, financial and non-technical data to support informed decision making.
– Management of monthly budgets and expense reports, developing internal processes that ensure financial stability
– Development of data-driven business plans, considering time value, inflation, and cost projections.
