Logistics Engineer

A Logistics Engineer is needed in Bloomingdale, Georgia.


Job duties


Design operational solutions for logistics activities in manufacturing automotive door systems and modules. Analyze logistics data involving customer service, sales forecasting,

procurement, manufacturing, inventory management and/or transportation to address operational process improvement. Determine logistics support requirements, such as facility details,

staffing needs, or safety or maintenance plans in coordinating purchasing, transportation, distribution, and warehousing of materials and finished parts. Evaluate the use and efficiency of

inventory tracking technology, web-based warehousing software, or intelligent conveyor systems to maximize the facilitys efficiency. Prepare documentation on automated logistics data

reporting or management information systems for evaluation and analysis of the up-to-date data reporting in logistics activities. Evaluate logistics strategies and develop logistics

engineering specifications, comprehensive supply chain management systems. Identify cost reduction factors to improve logistics process in dealing with materials and finished goods in

efficient way.

Collect and maintain routine business and operational data using established business intelligence systems and enterprise reporting tools. Generate standard reports, dashboards, and data summaries to support daily business operations and management review. Perform basic data checks for completeness or consistency and report any identified issues to appropriate team members.
Requirements :Bachelors degree in Management Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
 
Review mechanical designs and production requirements to select technically qualified suppliers.
Coordinate with engineering teams to evaluate tooling and manufacturing feasibility.
Analyze supplier cost and quality data to support efficient and reliable sourcing decisions.
 
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related field.

Compile and sort documents for business transactions and prepare entry journals.

Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly closings and periodic financial reports to submit them for executive review.

Gather necessary financial records from other departments.

 Requirement: Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field.
