An Industrial Engineering Technician is needed in LaGrange, Georgia.
Job duties
Monitor and adjust production processes and equipment for quality and productivity in a large-scale automotive manufacturing environment. Conduct time and motion studies on productionfloor operations to establish standard production rates and identify efficiency improvements. Test automotive parts and components at specified stages of the production process forperformance characteristics and adherence to engineering specifications. Calibrate and adjust production equipment and measurement tools, including calipers, micrometers, heightgauges, and ring gauges, to ensure quality output. Verify that equipment is operated and maintained in accordance with quality assurance standards by observing worker performance onthe production floor. Prepare and maintain production documents including standard operating procedures, manufacturing batch records, inventory reports, and productivity reports. Assistengineers in developing, building, and testing new manufacturing processes, tooling, and procedures for automotive components. Identify opportunities for improvements in quality, cost, orefficiency of automated production equipment.Aid in planning work assignments in accordance with worker performance, machine capacity, and production schedules.
