- Perform preventative engineering maintenance tasks and repair equipment malfunctions and inconsistencies.
- Initiate, implement, and test change controls in support of corrective actions and process improvements.
- Set up and operate test equipment to evaluate the performance of developmental parts, assemblies, and systems under simulated operating conditions, and record results.
- Perform maintenance engineering services by testing, measuring, replacing, and adjusting the assembly systems.
- Assemble press systems and prototypes according to engineering data and knowledge of electrical principles using hand tools and measuring instruments.
- Provide technical assistance and resolution when electrical or engineering problems are encountered.
- Build, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair press machines
- Collaborate with engineers or other personnel to identify, define, and solve developmental problems.
Implement overall TQM activities and implementation processes.
Analyze engineering specifications and manufacturing processes to establish quality and reliability objectives of finished products.
Apply statistical methods and perform mathematical calculations to identify the cause of quality problems.
Identify document quality issues and propose solutions to address them.
Assist product developers with detecting and resolving product defects.
Coordinate quality control objectives and activities to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability, and minimize costs.
Communicate with management to develop acceptable production and design standards.
Develop and implement test plans and automated testing tools.
Ensure compliance with the client’s product specifications and implement quality control objectives and activities.
Analyze product data to identify causes of recurring quality problems.
24 months of experience in industrial quality assurance positions is required.
