Rivian Groundbreaking

Social Circle, Ga. – Automaker Rivian has officially broken ground on its long-awaited $5B EV manufacturing facility in Walton County, Georgia. Company representatives and state leaders celebrated the groundbreaking on September 16. The 9-million-sq-ft plant, located on a 2,000-acre site an hour east of Atlanta, along the I-20 corridor, will create an estimated 7500 jobs. Officials expect vehicle production to start in 2028.
